Bentley Pub II

One place that is worth checking out in Sturbridge, MA is none other than the Bentley Pub II which is located in the old Piccadilly Pub building in front of Yankee Spirits. In a nutshell, it is a very casual and laid back setting. People of all kinds frequent there for lunch, dinner, and even happy hour! Not only are the staff very friendly but not too over powering, but there food is spectacular! The manager Matthew Stewart was very warm and welcoming and even took his time to go table to table to ensure the patrons were satisfied and needed for nothing! Their menu changes monthly to keep things fresh and unique. Also if you happen to fall in love with the place and decide to have an event there, they have a large private dining area as well!

There margaritas are nothing short of amazing. Very potent, but yummy! I recommend no more than two if your anything like us. After a cup of coffee make your way home and lock your self up in your house where you cant get into trouble. They are that intense.

In all seriousness…. This is the face of pure happiness…

Amanda and I kicked things off with the Sharing Platter which is made up with the standard boneless buffalo wings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and potato skins. Its everything that we love (all the fried greasiness) and served on a platter for two!

Then to compensate for the grease overload, we decided on splitting a Cranberry Peppercorn Chicken Salad. This is one of my favorite salads and it is made up of crisp greens, feta cheese (we aren’t fans of feta so they held it for it), dried cranberries, glazed walnuts tossed with cranberry dressing, and topped with grilled chicken. Its usually a ginormous salad, but the key word was that we split it so it wasn’t too much for us to handle after our appetizers.

And a couple more pictures from my first visit to the Bentley Pub II back in June on our way to a RedSox game….

My lovely sister Amy and her husband Craig.

And a Grey Lady Lager from Cisco Brewers of Nantucket along with a large crock of (my favorite) French Onion Soup!

Overall, I highly recommend popping in and getting the full Bentley experience for your self. For a menu and more information check them out at
