Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

So this is the easiest, most impressive, and most importantly most delicious appetizer I have ever come across! I heard about it from word of mouth and was intrigued! While researching, I came across quite a few variations but decided to go with this gem here…

Honesty it has been a long while since I made them (Easter) so I plan on making this again for a bridal shower over the weekend! Going threw prosciutto withdrawals here!!!!

16 Asparagus stalks

8 Prosciutto Slices; sliced medium-thin

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt & Pepper

Parmesan Cheese; freshly grated

Preheat the oven to 400.

Slice each piece of prosciutto in half length-wise and snap the bottom ends off the asparagus.

Drizzle the asparagus with olive oil on a baking sheet and season with salt & pepper then give them a good toss around the pan.

Starting at the end, wrap each stock of asparagus with a piece of prosciutto and then form a line up on the baking sheet (because these little morsels are to delicious it must be a crime… haha get it… okay laying off the wine now).

Roast at 400 for 15 minutes or until the asparagus is tender.

Sprinkle with a bit of parmesan cheese and serve warm or at room temperature!
