Sorry it has been a little bit since my last post but things have been a bit busy between work and other every day things I had to get done. One of them being the Beer Wine and Food Festival! Not that I am complaining, you can throw one of those bad boys at me every week and I will be more than happy to go to sample all the goodies!
So what is the Beer Wine and Food Festival you might ask…
Well, it is a big event that was held by the Rehabilitated Resources Incorporated (RRI), a local organization who supports people with developmental disabilities in our community. It was held at the acclaimed Oliver Write Tavern at Old Sturbridge Village. RRI arraigned to have numerous restaurants and caterers serve one or two highlights from their menus, as well as had local vineyards and brewery’s showcase and serve samples of their vintages or brews!
(My partner in crime, Amy)
Over all it was a great time and for a great cause!
The list of restaurants or caterers who participated include The Publick House, Overlook Catering, Old Sturbridge Village, Paolettes, and Dr. Rub Spices.
Wineries and Brewery’s included Hardwick Vineyard & Winery, Berkshire Brewing Company, Wormtown Brewery, Wachusett, Horizon Beverage, Constellation Brands, Trio Wine Company, Ruby Wine Inc., etc. The list goes on and on!
Everything was fantastic! The vibes, the food, the crowd, EVERYTHING! And I have to say I will definitely be attending again next year! Here are a few more pics from the evening…
