So I have been trying to buy different cuts of meats and roasts so that I can try new things in the kitchen because lets face it, we all tend to fall into food ruts.
I will be the first to admit that I definitely have these past few months. Well not any more starting with this Boston Butt Roast!!!! ::Cue Applause::
Ingredients
1 3.5-5 Lb Pork Butt Roast (This is actually a shoulder cut)
1 Medium Onion
1/4 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
4 Tbsp. House Seasoning (Recipe can be found in the previous post)
1 Cup Water
3 Bay Leaves
Barbeque Sauce (Optional)
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut your onion in half length wise then slice it up.
Rub the roast down on all sides with the Worcestershire Sauce.
Then rub the roast again on all sides with the House Seasoning.
Scatter sliced onions all around the roast.
Add bay leaves and water.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and roast in oven for 2 1/2-3 hours, or until the internal temp reads 170.
Enjoy!
Looks soo delish! Reminds me of the roasts our mother makes!
